What does MG stand for?
MG stands for Morris Garages - a name born in Oxford, England in 1924. What began as a small workshop tuning Morris cars for sport grew into one of the most loved British marques of the 20th century, famous for its octagon badge, open-top roadsters and record-breaking runs.
A century of British design
From the MG 14/28 of the 1920s to the MGA, MGB and MG Midget that defined post-war motoring, MG built a reputation for accessible performance - the everyday driver's sports car.
